Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) is not the same as medically-necessary transportation (Ambulance). Generally, most health insurance companies do not have coverage for this type of transportation. Medicare does not typically cover this service.
Medicaid covers NEMT. If you have Medicaid, please let your provider or social workers know, prior to the time of service. They will setup your trip through your Medicaid provider (See below). We are unable to schedule a Medicaid trip directly.
Some providers or private insurers cover NEMT when there is need, so be sure to ask your medical provider or private health care company if they cover the service.
Private Pay Customers: We charge a standard base fee for each leg of your trip plus mileage. Please contact us for a custom quote.
Our drivers offer assistance to all clients. We stress the importance of providing door-to-door assistance for all wheelchair and stretcher customers.
We typically ask you to call us when ready. We will then send a driver to pick you up.
If you have the following insurance carriers, you or your provider must contact them directly for transportation services. These providers will then approve and contact us with the Medicaid authorized transport.
