Genesee Transportation Inc. provides payment options that suit the needs of all of our clients.

 Genesee Transportation Inc. is available to handle all of your transportation needs.  Anyone can schedule a transport to be fulfilled by us, when you need it. For private pay trips we charge a standard base fee for each leg of your trip plus mileage.

Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) is not the same as medically-necessary transportation (Ambulance). 

Medicaid covers NEMT. If you have Medicaid, please let your provider or social workers know, prior to the time of service. They will setup your trip through your Medicaid provider (See below). We are unable to schedule a Medicaid trip directly. 

 If you have the following insurance carriers, you or your provider must contact them directly for transportation services. These providers will then approve and contact us with the Medicaid authorized transport.

Most private health insurance companies do not have coverage for NEMT. Medicare does not typically cover this service.

Some providers or private insurers cover NEMT when there is need, so be sure to ask your medical provider or private health insurance company  if they cover the service.
